This project was undertaken in a 'live office' environment, where Antarctica staff were on-site and continued to work throughout the duration of the two month refit. The layout was transformed from a multiple office space to an open plan area with meeting rooms.
Refitting around staff meant that we needed to roll out this job in two stages, allowing personnel to continue working uninterrupted. Temporary hoarding was installed to prevent dust and contaminants entering the office space, whilst the majority of noisy work was undertaken out of hours to prevent disruption to staff.
